Who We Are

Emmanuel Church English Congregation (EC) is a vibrant, multiethnic, multicultural, and multigenerational community rooted in the heart of West Philadelphia. We are the English-speaking congregation of Emmanuel Church, a Korean American church with a rich legacy of serving the local community and the world with the love of Christ.

Our church reflects the beauty of God’s diverse kingdom—united by the gospel, grounded in Scripture, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and committed to transforming lives in Philadelphia and beyond.

What to Expect
Worship Services

Worship is central to everything we do. Our services are Christ-centered, Spirit-led, and grounded in the truth of God’s Word. Expect heartfelt praise, meaningful prayer, and relevant teaching that speaks across generations and cultures.

  • Sunday Worship: Join us every Sunday at 10:00 AM in the EC Chapel (3rd Floor) for an uplifting time of worship and biblical teaching.

  • Children’s Ministry: During service, children are invited to participate in age-appropriate classes where they learn about God’s love in fun and engaging ways.

Community & Fellowship

Church is more than a service—it’s a family. We want you to experience genuine community and build lasting relationships through:

  • Small Groups: Connect with others through weekly gatherings where we share life, pray, and grow in God’s Word.

  • Fellowship Lunches: Stick around after service for a meal and meet others in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

  • Events & Outings: From retreats and service projects to seasonal celebrations and picnics, there’s always something happening!
